This is a true nude lipstick that lacks a pink or peach base. As with most of MAC’s Amplified Lipsticks – the formula was creamy, on the thicker side and also moisturizing. It looks smooth on the lips and does not pronounce imperfections. Regarding application, this colour required two coats for opaque and even coverage. It wore three hours before fading, and needed reapplication at four hours.
Initially I was going give this lipstick an average review, but I’ve grown to love and appreciate this nude after wearing it regularly these past few weeks. With my pale skin and cool undertones, this colour has the tendency to make me look washed out. However, this lipstick is useful for mixing with other lipsticks or when you wish to draw attention to your eyes and looks stunning paired with a dark smokey eye. Overall, this is a nude lipstick you should probably try before you buy.
