TKB Trading Crucible Gold Pigment – Review & Swatches
TKB Crucible Gold Pigment
Described as “a metallic pigment with a super-satured golden hue.”
The colour of this pigment is a metallic dirty yellow gold. When used dry, it has a semi-sheer coverage but the colour can be easily built up. When used wet, the colour leans yellow and becomes truly metallic.
As with Crucible Red, I had substantial issues with fallout and blending. However, fallout was reduced by applying the pigment wet. It wore for approximately six hours when used dry without a primer, and eight hours when used wet before fading and creasing. It is an unusual, yet beautiful gold that is worth purchasing if don’t own anything like it.
Ingredients: Bronze powder, silica.

Please note: Pure micas do not contain any additives or bases, and therefore may not adhere optimally to the skin. They are intended to be used to make your own cosmetics, and are not a finished product.
You can also purchase additives and bases from TKB Trading to improve application and wear. I also highly recommend purchasing a jar for storage, which TKB Trading also sells, as their micas are sold in bags.
