TKB Trading Chameleon Fine Mica – Review & Swatches
TKB Trading Chameleon Fine Mica
Described as “a brick red blend with a brownish tone and is accented by greens and blues.”
This multicolored mica is composed of a red-brown base with a dark teal blue duochrome. It also reminds me of MAC’s Blue Brown Pigment, which unfortunately I do not own and therefore cannot compare side by side. A cheaper alternative perhaps?
This shade wears for approximately four hours when used dry without a primer, and nearly seven hours when used wet without a primer. Ultimately, this colour needs to be used wet or with a mixing medium, otherwise it appears faded, the duochrome is barely noticeable and wear time is dramatically reduced. This mica also blends quite well when used both dry and wet.
I’m a sucker for duochromes in all forms, and this mica is no exception. TKB Trading also offers two more glittery versions of this mica called Chameleon Glitter & Nosy Be Chameleon, but remember that glitter eyeshadows tend to have issues with fallout.
Ingredients: Mica & Iron Oxide. FDA Approved for Lips, Eyes, Face & Nails.

Please note: Pure micas do not contain any additives or bases, and therefore may not adhere optimally to the skin. They are intended to be used to make your own cosmetics, and are not a finished product.
You can also purchase additives and bases from TKB Trading to improve application and wear. I also highly recommend purchasing a jar for storage, which TKB Trading also sells, as their micas are sold in bags.
